Privacy policy

We collect no personal data. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track individual people.

In short

  • We do not use cookies.
  • We do not have forms, accounts or comment sections.
  • We do not collect names, email addresses or any other personally identifiable information through this site.
  • We measure traffic with Plausible Analytics, which is built for privacy and works without personal data.

Website analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. Plausible is cookie-free and does not collect personal data, so it does not need a cookie banner.

For each page view, Plausible receives the page address, the referrer, and broad information such as country, browser, operating system and device type. It does not store your IP address, and it does not follow you across pages or across other websites. Visits are counted in aggregate only: we cannot see what an individual person did.

You can read how Plausible handles data in its data policy.

Because no personal data is processed, the analytics we run is not subject to the consent requirement that applies to cookies and personal tracking. Our interest in understanding how the site is used, so that we can improve it, is legitimate and has no meaningful impact on your privacy.

If you email us

If you write to us at contact@cmscompared.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply, and we do not share it with anyone else. You can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time.

Links to other sites

CMS Compared links to vendor websites and other third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Check their policies when you visit them.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want your message removed, or you have any other privacy question, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data, for example by adding a form or another tool, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our cookie policy.
