Enterprise headless CMS with a built-in page builder

/ 5

Our score

Agility CMS is a SaaS headless CMS aimed at enterprise teams. It delivers content through REST and GraphQL and gives marketers a built-in page builder. Most pricing is by quote.

Overview

Agility CMS is a SaaS headless CMS that calls itself an enterprise headless CMS and composable DXP. The vendor says its first version launched in 2005 and that the company began in 2002 as a consultancy called Edentity. It is hosted on Microsoft Azure with a 99.95% uptime SLA. Content is available through REST and GraphQL APIs, and starter kits cover Next.js, Nuxt, Gatsby, Astro and .NET.

Marketers get a built-in page builder with sitemap editing, real-time preview and content scheduling. Multi-site, multi-brand and multilingual setups run from one platform. Only the SDKs (JavaScript and .NET) are listed as open source. The vendor describes pricing as fixed and tied to team and site count, not API call volume.

Strengths

  • Headless API plus a built-in page builder for marketers.
  • SOC 2 Type II, GovRAMP registered, nine built-in roles, SSO, audit trails and approval workflows.
  • Multi-site and multi-instance management from one platform.
  • MACH Alliance member, with starter kits for Next.js, Nuxt, Gatsby, Astro and .NET.

Watch out for

  • Pricing is mostly contact-us. Only the proof of concept and an Essentials figure are public, and the Essentials figure has no billing period.
  • Built for enterprise teams. The free tier is a vendor-built proof of concept, not a standing free plan.
  • The MCP and AI integration is in beta.
  • No self-hosting option found.
